How much interest would there be for a uleth dating site?

Someone suggested this on the TLF's. Though I honestly don't believe it would work.

It seems we don't have a very strong internet community at uleth. Just look at how dead that lal.com site is, considering how known it is.

To create one would be easy and quick, I just think it will end up being a ghost town like this site currently is.

Any thoughts?

I agree that it would be very dead. Then again, the prospect of initiating relationships without the awkwardness of face-to-face interaction is one that has been catching on as of late, so there is a chance that a uleth dating site may grow to be slightly less dead than this site currently is.

It's all about marketing this shit. It seems students here are very slow to adopt online stuff. TLF's are the only really popular online "forum."

The appeal is anonymity, and yet they are censored and it takes a week to see your messages and other messages to be posted. With a simple forum like this, you can get a TLF WITH unlimited text and instant feedback. LAL has mostly the same drawbacks as the TLF's.

If students were aware of this site, I am sure it would catch on.

Still, not sure a dating site would really be feasible. We will see if the forum catches on, then I will look into a dating script site. What I need to do is to make physical ads, and flyers around campus.

I agree that it would be dead at first. However, with some posters and such around campus, I think it could be quite feasible. I'd be in, I'm single.

I really think, especially with first years it would be feasible.
I my self will be entering my first semester of university In the fall and Im sure I represent many kids my age when I say we're out of our comfort zone, we're a little bit shy and a whole bunch nervous. Not to mention excited. It'd be nice if there was a service that could break the ice for us. Maybe instead of a dating website, someone could formulate a speed dating service every other Friday or somthing like that.
